On Saturday (2/27/16) Freshman Gunar Fuss (120lbs) and Senior Dustin Stone (145lbs) both won District I East Championship titles in their respective weight classes.  Fuss opened up the day with a 16-0 technical fall over Gianncarlo Flores of Council Rock North in just 2 minutes and 28 seconds.  In the semifinals, Gunnar pinned Central Bucks South's Nick Poinchock in 2:59.  In the 120lb championship final, Fuss earned a 3-0 decision over Souderton's Brandon Bach.  Stone opened up with a 55 second fall over Souderton's Bruno Stolfi.  He followed with an 11-0 major decision over Neshaminy's Joe Little.  In the 145lb championship final, Stone topped Interboro's Eric Thomas with a 4-2 decision to earn the 145lb District I East Crown.  Both wrestlers advance to the South East Regional Championships at Souderton High School this Friday and Saturday (3/4-3/5).  The top four finishers in each weight class at the SE Regional tournament will advance to the 2016 PIAA Class AAA State Championships at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa on 3/10-3/12.  Check out the links below for full results, regional brackets, headlines, etc.
