The Tigers defeated Pennsbury 38-27 in the 4th Suburban One National League match of the season.  Last week, Truman fell to Council Rock North 42-23.  Truman opened up last night with a win from Justin Litz at 220lbs by a score of 3-0 over Scott Deithorne.  Connor McAdams received a forfeit at 285lbs; Freshman Danny Wright (106lbs) followed with a Technical Fall (18-2) over Nicholas Visco.  The Tigers fell short in their next two matches, before Freshman Gunnar Fuss rallied with an impressive 5-0 win over Pennsbury's Conner Joyce.  After another two straight losses for Truman, Senior Jonny Joel (145lbs) pinned Shaun Peel.  Jonny's win set the platform for a 5-match streak for the Tigers, with wins coming from Dustin Stone, Austin Vossbein, Quentin Mulbah, and Alex Litz.  

Over the winter break, the Tigers went 6-0 in dual meet competition -- beating Tennent (SOL Nat.) 39-33, and claiming the first place title at the annual Harry S. Truman Holiday Duals, beating Franklin Towne Charter, Conwell Egan, New Hope, Hamilton West and Hillsborough.  Dustin Stone was named Outstanding Wrestler.
