The Tigers competed at the Suburban One National League Championships at Pennsbury on Saturday (2/20).  Eight of Truman's wrestlers finished in the top four in their respective weight classes to earn a spot in the District I East Championships this Saturday (2/27/16) at Quakertown High School.  Three of the eight were crowned SOL Champions, as they went unbeaten in Saturday's league tournament: Freshman Gunnar Fuss (120lbs), Senior Dustin Stone )145lbs), and Junior Isaiah Godbold (220lbs).  Stone was name Outstanding wrestler after topping #1 seed Lucas Martoccio of Council Rock South in the championship final by a score of 10-3.  Other wrestlers that qualified for the District tournament include: Freshman Joey Goldey (132lbs), Senior Austin Vossbein (152lbs), Senior Quentin Mulbah (160lbs), Sophmore Alex Litz (170lbs), and Senior Justin Litz (195lbs).  

The top four wrestlers from each respective weigh class at the District I East Championships will advance to the South East Regional Championships at Souderton on March 4-5, where wrestlers will battle for a top four finish and a trip to the Giant Center in HERSHEY, Pa for the 2016 PIAA Class AAA State Championships.
