On Saturday, February 18, Harry S Truman hosted the Suburban One National League Championships for the first time. It was a very successful day for five Tiger wrestlers, as they qualified for the 2017 District I East Championships. Freshman Danny Baskin finished 4th at 106lbs. Sophomore Gunnaer Fuss captured his second-straight SOL National title at 126lbs. Sophomore Joey Goldey earned his second trip to the District I Championships by finishing 3rd at 138lbs. Junior Alex Litz was the 182lb runner -p, while senior Isaiah Godbold was the runner-up at 220lbs. The FINAL FIVE Tigers will compete in the District I East Championships on Saturday, February 25 at Council Rock North High School. The top 4 finishers in each respective weight class will qualify for the South East Regional Championships, to be hosted by Souderton on March 3-4. Great job to the FINAL FIVE, and thank you to all who made Saturday a successful event! As Always, thank you for your continued support!
